Introducing AI Mac Cleaner 1.0

AI Mac Cleaner 1.0 is out today, for direct download from this site and, shortly, on the Mac App Store as AI Mac Cleaner Lite.

We built it because the cleaners we had been using kept asking us to trust them. Big "Clean" buttons, vague categories, and a habit of deleting first and explaining later. We wanted the opposite: an app that shows every file before it moves, explains why it is safe, and always leaves a way back.

The one rule

Every removal in AI Mac Cleaner goes to the Trash. There is no "permanently delete" path in the product except the Empty Trash button, which you press yourself. If the app ever gets something wrong, the fix is Put Back in Finder.

The scanners also refuse a fixed list of places: your home folder itself, Documents, iCloud Drive's root, and anything that looks like a source-code project. We would rather miss a few megabytes than touch something you care about.
