AI Mac Cleaner is made by Reaper Deep Technologies ("we"). This policy explains what the app and this website do with your information. The short version: the app collects nothing about you and sends nothing anywhere.

The app

No data collection. AI Mac Cleaner has no analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting and no account system. It does not connect to our servers. It does not send file names, file contents or anything about your Mac to us or to anyone else.

Scanning happens on your Mac. The app reads the folders it scans in order to show you what it found. That information stays in the app's memory and in a local activity log on your Mac, which you can delete at any time.

AI Scan uses Apple's on-device language model (Apple Intelligence). The analysis runs entirely on your Mac. Nothing is sent to Apple, to us, or to any third party by the app.

Licence keys. A licence key contains the name and email address given at purchase, so the app can show whose licence it is. The key is stored in your macOS Keychain. The app does not transmit it.

Full Disk Access is optional. It lets the app see files macOS otherwise hides (for example Safari data). It is only used for scanning; the app does not copy or upload anything.

Mac App Store edition. Purchases are handled by Apple through In-App Purchase under Apple's privacy policy. We receive no personal information from Apple about App Store customers.

This website and purchases

This website uses no tracking cookies and no analytics that identify you. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability, retained for a limited time.

When you buy a licence, payment is processed by our payment provider, which collects the information needed to complete the purchase (name, email, payment details, country for tax). We receive your name, email address and order details so that we can issue and support your licence. We do not see or store your card number.

We keep licence records (name, email, plan, dates) for as long as the licence is valid plus the period required for accounting. We do not sell or share this information, except with the payment provider and as required by law.

Email

If you write to us, we keep the correspondence so we can help you and refer back to it. We do not add you to marketing lists without asking.

Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing support@aimaccleaner.com. Deleting licence records may end our ability to support that licence.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date. Continued use after that means you accept the change.
